Print design for marketing & communications

Logos, business stationery, ads, leaflets, flyers

Any successful business needs to make sure its marketing message is as effective and impactful in the real world as it is online.

Free Consultation

Whether you need a slick new business logo, professional business stationery, multi-page printed items like leaflets or brochures, or a targeted ad or poster campaign, I have the experience and creative vision to help take your business to the next level.

Advertising, Leaflets & Flyers

If you need to spread the word about a new product, event or service, a printed advert, flyer, leaflet or brochure can work wonders. An ad can be any size or shape, while a flyer is usually a single- or double-sided A5 sheet. A leaflet will generally be an A5 or other small format multi-page document, while a brochure or program will be A4 or larger and can be almost any number of pages. I can design any of these for you and also provide competitive print quotes.

Logos, Branding & Signage

A unique logo and brand identity design to represent your business on signage, stationery, website, social media and anywhere else you need to establish a colourful and memorable presence to turn the heads of potential customers. I can design you a new logo from scratch or adapt and improve an existing logo that needs updating.

Business Stationery

Business stationery can include business cards, letterheads and complements slips, A4 presentational folder, invoice templates and any other documentation or communication materials which use your logo and business brand ID.

Corporate Communications

I have many years of experience of designing beautiful annual reports, powerpoint presentations, company newsletters, exhibition posters and other vital channels of communication between a business and its employees, customers, stakeholders and target market.

Pricing

I only offer bespoke pricing on graphic design projects because every client has different requirements and experience has shown that one size normally does not fit all. I'm always happy to adapt and work with a client's particular requirements, so get in touch for chat to discuss how I can help your business. My invoicing arangements for fixed fee projects are 25% in advance, 25% upon final approval of design proofs, and the remaining 50% either upon delivery of completed digital artwork files, or submission of artwork to print.

Website Tie-In

If you've also asked me to design and build you a website, all print designs will of course be made to tie-in seamlessly with your new site to ensure a smooth and co-ordinated marketing presence for your business for online and offline.

How It Works

This is the tried and trusted process I follow to help my clients always feel engaged and involved in the process of planning and creating their project.

  1. Initial Project Briefing

We meet or talk on the phone and I ask you a few questions which will give me the information I need to put together a detailed and fair costings estimate for your graphic design project, based either on a fixed fee or a number of hours (depending on the nature of the project and how you prefer to be invoiced). I also provide you with a proposed project outline and schedule based on our conversation which contains my complete understanding of what you require and how I will go about providing it for you. Once you've read and agreed the costings and proposal schedule, I'm ready to get started!

  2. Design Proofing

Every project is different, so the interval between project costing and schedule approval and delivery of first design proofs varies from a day or two to one or more weeks. I will keep you involved at every stage of the design process, supplying you with digital PDF design proofs for your approval at every key stage of the design process. You will be able to submit up to three rounds of changes to the initial proofs. Once final design proofs are approved by you, I either supply you with the full and complete hi-res digital artwork, or we proceed to the digital or litho print proofing stage.

  3. Print Proofing

If your graphic design project requires digital or litho printing, you will either be able to view up to two rounds of print proofs in person, or I can arrange for print proofs to be shipped to your designated address if you prefer (though this may incur additional courier charges).

  4. Print & Delivery

Once you have approved all printed proofs, the job goes to print and all finished printed items will be couriered to one postal address of your choosing.

  5. Billing

Please see the 'Pricing' Section above for details of my invoicing arangements for graphic design projects.

I have had the pleasure of working with Steve on my new website and been delighted to find somebody who listened to my needs and was only satisfied once I was. A rare quality these days.
